| Particle Properties |
| |
| Particle Size: |
As prepared particles have a nominal particle size of ~15 nm. |
| |
Particle size distribution (see plot below) has been measured by an acoustic |
| |
method and the PSD data has been substantiated by TEM. |
| |
| Concentration: |
The particles are available in concentrations as low as 1wt% up |
| |
to 40wt%. |
| |
| Additive Compatibility: |
The aqueous based particles easily combine with a |
| |
variety of additives including rheology modifiers and adhesion promoters. |

| Bulk Properties |

| Cure Kinetics: |
|
| |
| |
As prepared particles cure very rapidly to a white electrically continuous film. |
| |
• At 85oC, a nominal
200-400 nm thick film cures in 30 sec to 2X bulk silver resistivity |
| |
• In 60 seconds, the resistivity is nearly bulk - see Resistivity-Time plot below |
| |
| |
Fully formulated ink cures to a shiny gray, well adhered, electrically continuous film. |
| |
• At 100oC, a nominal
200-400 nm thick film cures in 30 sec to 13X bulk silver resistivity |
| |
• In 120 seconds, the resistivity is ~6X bulk - see Resistivity-Time plot below |

in the plots below for two thickness ranges. |
